Product Overview

These premium deep-sea wild-caught langoustines (also named Norway lobster / New Zealand scampi) are carefully graded into Size A1 (Extra Large) and A2 (Large). All scampi are blast-frozen on fishing vessels at ultra-low temperature right after offshore harvest to preserve bouncy tender texture and natural ocean sweetness. They are top-tier ingredients for high-end Japanese sashimi platters, Japanese buffet, hot pot boiling, Teochew-style raw marination, baked or pan-seared Western dishes. With rich roe and fine grain-free flesh, they are ideal for family feasts, banquet serving and bulk supply for catering restaurants.

Size & Appearance Advantages

1.

Premium A1 & A2 Large Sizes for Upscale Presentation A1 is extra-large grade while A2 is large grade, with long well-proportioned bodies, glossy translucent orange-red shells, intact antennae and claws. Very few broken tails, missing whiskers or black-headed defective shrimp. Perfect visual effect for luxury sashimi plating.

2.

Wild Cold Deep-Sea Harvest for Superior Sweet Flavor Living in cold deep waters of North Atlantic and New Zealand sea areas, slow growth creates firm, compact meat with minimal fishy odor. The flesh delivers clean natural seawater sweetness, buttery tender when eaten raw and springy after cooked.

Professional Onboard Freezing Technology

Immediately bled, cleaned and size-sorted after being caught, then flash-frozen at -60℃ ultra-low temperature on board. This technology locks original juice and umami flavor completely. No water injection for weight gain, no repeated freezing & thawing. The meat stays intact and non-mushy after proper thawing.

Versatile Cooking Applications

✅ Premium Japanese Sashimi: Thaw slowly in fridge, peel shells for thick-cut raw scampi sashimi with wasabi and soy sauce;

✅ Buffet & Hot Pot: Core ingredient for Japanese all-you-can-eat restaurants and seafood hot pot;

✅ Raw Marinated Dish: Traditional Teochew marinated prawns with wine and seasonings for silky mouthfeel;

✅ Western Cuisine: Baked with cheese, pan-fried with butter, garlic steamed and charcoal grilled as signature restaurant dishes;

✅ Gift Option: Elegant seafood gift box package, decent premium present for business holidays and festivals.

Storage & Thawing Instructions

1. Keep unopened langoustines frozen at -18℃ for up to 12 months shelf life;

2. For raw consumption: Only defrost gradually in refrigerator chiller compartment. Never soak in room-temperature water, which will ruin the firm texture;

3. People with sensitive digestive systems are recommended to fully cook before eating instead of raw intake.

Application Scenarios
